There are several locations in the Valley and the Oxbow.

Villages[]
The Valley and the Oxbow have several villages (and couple locations outside of villages) where friendly NPCs live in. In these locations the player can trade with vendors, buy farm animals, talk with NPCs and try to incite newcomers to join the player's settlement to be a Worker.

There are several vendors located in villages all around the map selling different kind of items.
Animals[]

The Valley and the Oxbow, that the player starts to get to know, has several locations that wild animals spawn to. Different villages also sell different farm animals to the player. The locations for wild animal species can either be discovered by the player themself or be purchased from hunters, such as Gizela in Lesnica, and Rajmund in Tutki. The locations are then marked to the in-game map.

The valley contains all kinds of natural resources just waiting to be found by the player. Such as caves that hide deposits for salt, tin ore and copper ore. When the player builts a mine to the cave's entrance iron ore will then become available also. Stone (and limestone) can be mined from rock that can be found everywhere. The player can also find clay deposits, and reed locations (for straw) near water sources, all around the map.

Bandits[]
Bandits also have specific camping locations around the map they may spawn to. Unless the player has toggled off the bandits from the game's customization settings, these hostile NPCs will attack the player on sight.

Sometimes when the player travels all around the map, they can find all kinds of interesting hidden treasures, chests, barrels, coins, abandoned campsites, and broken carts with items lying around it.
